HOW Inspections
When you get major building work done you need to get Home Owners'
Warranty insurance to cover you and future owners against serious
defects in the work if the contractor dies, disappears or becomes
insolvent.
Usually your building contractor takes out this insurance for each job.
However, when you are the owner-builder or your builder did not provide
insurance, you will need to obtain a Home Owner Warranty Inspection.
This Inspection and Report is very like a final inspection will tell you any:
work the builder needs to complete or rectify
the certificates we recommend you get from the various consultants and contractors.
We will not tell you minor problems which are not claimable because this can make you worry about issues of little importance.
